Doesn't it grind yer gears that they generally picked out the duller face-on, symmetrical expressions frames for their promotional stills? The movie appears to be something quite else.

But the main one I wanted to mention was World of Warcraft. The ingame graphics are completely cartoony, but the intro movies for all three games (well. one game and 2 expansions) are (mostly) realistic and done very well. ESPECIALLY the current one "Wrath of the Lich King". I really wish...

But it could also be assumed that cartoon characters had a life outside of films; i.e. they had other jobs before becoming actors.

There's also the problem of explaining where they came from in the first place.
