Ben - I've read a lot of articles on Blu and your mentioning is the first I've seen that it's out selling DVD in the same time frame. A lot of industry people have been saying it's not going to catch on until those things I cited change. A story in the news today about some states planning a ban on ...

"Still reading the boards even though we had to ban you for becoming outrageous way back when, eh?" I've NEVER been outrageous. "What made you decide to try again?" Where else would I find out the answer to my questions? "And how's that animation career going?" See for yourself: www.jill chill.com "...

If anyone cares the titles I have redeemed for are: Duck Tales the Movie Tall Tale Geppetto Robin Hood Rob Roy the Highland Rogue Kidknapped So Dear to My Heart and I think there have been 2 others. I'm only 800 points from the complete Zorro. I have two accounts going where a friend of mine redeems...

I haven't taken the plunge yet but plan to go with the Pixar and stop motion films first. I question if every film will look better in Blu because I tried some standard DVD's on a big screen TV of a friend and the artifacts were REALLY bad. These films were live action and restored and it made me wo...

“Hardly new? You joined four days ago and have posted but seven times! Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight... Unless you're a previous member who has rejoined under a new guise...?” Yep, I’ve been around these boards for over 10 years and we know each other quite well...

" By now everyone should know to basically go and buy your titles in this first week to benefit from lower prices, added extras and special packaging like slipcases or colored disc art." But the way the ecconomy has been the last few years sometimes you just can't do that. That's the boat I found my...

I have more to add to the mystery. I checked out the versions sold at Wal*Mart and when my case says the Penguin Christmas Caper is on it their version (in fullscreen) has the "I like to move it, move it" music video is included. I was under the impression that this was on all versions of the DVD to...

The DVD case says the short is included. My disc has no art and is like the Lilo & Stich and other Paramount DVDs I've seen. I bought a bunch of Dreamworks ones this week at the sale and all had the bland disc art.

Are you kidding? I grew up with it in my elementary school library. I love how alive Peet's drawings are in that book. I use them as examples of story telling poses in my animation lectures all the time.

Does Dreamwoeks have a DVD customer service like Disney does? Best Buy wont wxchange it because it's open and they say it's not defective, I just don't know what I'm doing. The package says it's on it so it's false advertising if you ask me. Just where do you find the short if it isn't hard to find?...

I'm still irked about the dropped audio lines from the restoration (that's just sloppy) and bummed that not all of the LD features are ported over. There's a lot of cut songs and things known to exist in one form or another that we heard nothing about on the DVD and there was barely a peep about the...

Madagascar Penguins Christmas Caper Question/(Glitch?)

Hi I was hoping someone here may know the answer to this question. I picked up Madagascar 1 this week at the Best Buy sale and have a copy with the case that says the Penguin's Christmas Caper is on the disc but I have searched all over the menus and I don't see it listed anywhere. Can anyone tell m...
