Re: Disney's Aladdin (Live-Action)

I preordered the 3D Steelbook from Zavvi, but probably won't get out to the theatre for it. Not with so many other films coming out over the next few weeks.

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

Wally Gator is coming in June! One more classic show down! No details yet on what exactly is included, I expect it would include the Lippy the Lion & Hardy Har Har and Touche Turtle & Dum Dum shorts as well, but we'll see. Originally called The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series, it ran for 52 episode...

Re: The NEW Muppet Movie

Yeah, they were real puppets in the first place. But I guess these are the "new" versions. Not being an expert, they look much as they did before, with a new character?

Re: Disney's Aladdin (Live-Action)

Nope, Bollywood films have much more energy than that. This Aladdin film looks so inert. Wow, Guy Ritchie directed this?!?

Re: Tim Conway RIP

Harvey Korman on a late night talk show (I think it was Letterman; maybe Leno) at the time of the Flintstones movie release: Host: You always had trouble keeping a straight face on The Carol Burnett Show... Korman (Feigning furious anger): Everyone always has to point that out! You try working next ...

Re: YouTube Goodness

I didn't know about the album, but he did a great Billy Joel impression as the character he played on Ally McBeal years ago. The guy is talented.

Re: Lady and the Tramp (Live-Action)

Sigh.

The only thing that offends me anymore is people telling me I should be offended by something. Y'know?

Re: Disney's Christopher Robin

He said, she said. It's always difficult to know what to believe in these cases. I met Jim a few months ago, and would hate to think the accusations were true, but you never know. I tend to believe the accuser, but one can never assume someone is telling the truth, either. Such a pity that this does...

Re: Lady and the Tramp (Live-Action)

I guess that Lady's okay, but is that the closest they could come to finding a dog that looked like Tramp?

Whatever. The whole thing is pointless anyhow.

Disney+ gets less appealing every day.

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

I read Screen Rant's take on it, and couldn't disagree more. How many of today's kids even know the term "Jim Crow?" (Plus, who says that all of Disney+'s content has to be only for kids anyway??) Losing that scene would totally hurt the film, and there is no good reason for it. It is so ridiculous ...
