Funny to me, seeing as we're actually IN December. Hilarious.

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES

I will bet they’re hoping Aquaman will deliver THIS December. Why would they wait until next December...!? Basically, WB have woken up to the fact that they own a bunch of properties that could do for them what Disney is doing with their remakes. Most of what you listed above has already been announ...

Re: YouTube Goodness

Dace..."Papergirl"...? ;) Vi...was quite impressed how they did kind of know most of those songs, even the earliest ones; the scores didn’t always tally with what they knew even if they couldn’t name it. Kind of does show how the reissue and remake plan does make those old films new again....

Or, basically: let’s go in the current zeitgeist direction of what sucked the least in the DCU... ;)

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

Disney being obstinate is 100% why "Netflix" cancelled the show.

The remaining two shows will end in due course too, no doubt. Other distributors may have rights to content around the world, but eventually Disney will get back everything they own.

They’ll buy Sony next... ;)

Re: Article on all the Disney live action remakes of animated classics

Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation are two different units within Disney nowadays (since Lasseter came in). What cracks me up about the new Lion King...what we’ve seen so far...is that it seems to be a photorealistic version of what we know. And that begs the question of who exactly is d...

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

I don’t see why they didn’t just issue the much in demand Tom & Jerry Volume Two set. That was all ready to go before it was cancelled so it would have been almost zero cost and maximum profit.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph 2

I’m still perplexed as to why this thing isn’t called Ralph Wrecks The Internet. The title as is is a lazy reference that’s already dated, but switching it to Wrecks not only makes the same reference but then totally takes it and owns it as its own thing, not to mention still describing the concept,...

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

It always amuses me that they label Star Wars on the level of Marvel when it’s a brand, not a studio. It should be Lucasfilm, of course. ;)

Re: New Disney Streaming Service (Disney Play)

Most Fox stuff will go via Hulu, though. NatGeo fits more with Disney's educational and nature side.

Re: Grinch 2018 First Look at Cindy Lou

I loved Horton, actually. Saw it in the theatre, on a plane out to the States, and again on the way home. I have Lorax on Blu but have never gotten around to watching. The more I hear about this new Grinch the more I think I’ll get the Blu. I loved Carrey back in the day but that film felt as fake a...
