Re: YouTube Goodness

VERY interesting take on what a 2018 trailer for Tim Burton’s first Batman film would be like. Extremely well done, (but with MANY spoilers! Lol! :P ) Disclosure: I’m actually a staunch Burton Batman fan. I’ve very much enjoyed Nolan’s trilogy, especially TDK, (as amazing as Ledger was IMHO Eckhart ...

Re: New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie

Another reboot?? No way! How many times can they reboot the same property? ******************************* I actually completely forgot about this scene in the 1990 film until I saw it again a few months ago. Just so powerful... https://youtu.be/pNkiDVRIdZI (Heart-to-heart talk between...

Re: Toy Story 4

Just wanted to say that I think they chose his relplacements well (especially Pete Docter, who really knows how to bring out that “Classic Disney” feel.) Looking forward to seeing their plans for both studios

Disney issues seizure warning; apparently a certain scene with bright lights flashing might affect epileptics:

Re: Avengers, Justice League and more in READY PLAYER ONE!

Although it’s indisputably well-made, Catch Me if You Can is hands-down my least favorite Spielberg movie (unless you count Crystal Skull, which I really don’t since you can barely even recognize it as a Spielberg film. It’s maybe about one tenth of a percent as good as an “autopilot” film like The ...

Re: Incredibles 2

Awesome that it’s 93% on RT! Will probably see it in a couple of weeks. Also very interested to see how they work the whole stay-at-home dad thing into an animated superhero film. Only a Pixar/Bird film would take a chance on a premise like that, even if they don’t portray it 100% positively, (I hav...

Re: Avengers, Justice League and more in READY PLAYER ONE!

Yeah, I can’t even come up with the words to adequately describe my feelings during my first theater viewing of Minority Report. Just...wow. (Yeah, really eloquent, right? Lol.) It combined different genres (sci-fi, crime thriller, intimate drama, audience crowd-pleaser) so effortlessly and ...

Re: Avengers, Justice League and more in READY PLAYER ONE!

I agree that the first two are vastly underrated (especially Minority Report) but still haven’t seen Spies or BFG.

Oh here’s a clip of the “water ripples” scene from JP. :)

Re: Avengers, Justice League and more in READY PLAYER ONE!

Also, don’t mean to keep gushing like this but just wanted to say that I truly, truly believe that in maybe 100 years’ time people will look on Spielberg and his work as the equivalent of Shakespeare and Dickens. I’m totally serious. The truth that is often forgotten is that both of those singular g...

Re: The Simpsons

VERY cool short making-of documentary from 1992. (Beginning of Season 4, which many fans consider to be the best. I know I do! Lol.) :) https://youtu.be/6stjHLHjdf8 It’s also really interesting to once again see, after all these years, the wonderful emotional core that got us to love these character...

Spielberg interview from BBC1: https://youtu.be/SMv1iTHUTtc Just...wow. :) He is...the MAN!!!!!!!! (Apparently he named RP1 as one of the hardest films he’s directed so far. I could definitely see how unbelievably challenging a film like that would be to direct, not just for technical reasons but al...

Kinda random I know, but just happened to come across this...it’s the letter J.K. Rowling sent to Daniel Radcliffe when he was cast as Harry:
