Ok so last night's episode was so-so. It left me feeling as if they are still trying to decide which direction to take the show in. It was really neat having another look at one of the villains from the premiere (the writers are doing a good job with continuity while attempting not to alienate new v...

I don't know when they will repeat the first two eps, but i'm sure you can youtube them. As for new eps...they tend to play them for about 4 days. For example, this week the new one will play on the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 22nd. I didn't mean to come off negative, i just have a high expectation from n...

The Secret Saturdays...

...anyone watching this show? I have some mixed feelings for it, although i overall like it thus far. The style is extremely remeniscent of The Herculoids. It has a great opening theme song and an even better villain (especially the vocal performance who is none other than Corey Burton of Clone Wars...

I think the intention with Frankenweenie is very much to capture the tone of Nightmare and Corpse Bride, Stego. Remember that both of those films - and Frankenweenie itself - are Burton creations, so they lend themselves better to coming to life in his own style.. That's true...hadn't though...

well i personally think he is an auteur. on a slightly different note, i'm not so sure how i feel about this film not being stop-mo. Don't get me wrong, i love James, and i think mo-cap CAN be used well. I'm just not crazy about it and while i do enjoy new things, this was something i didn't want to...

Thanks for the heads up on the next installment, but i think i'm gonna wait till Spring cuz apparantly they are putting out a "complete series" package. Since you have the first part, how are the extra features? (assuming you started watching...

In the immortal words of Bugs: "I...

the way i've always looked at rotoscoping/mo-cap being bundled into the same category as animation is comparable to someone taking a photograph of the human body and then placing it next to a drawing of the human body and saying "i made this" about both. to me, there is something inheritly wrong abo...
