I'm sorry, I just never liked Mulan much. IMO it should have been a lot more serious and true to Chinese culture, the way Pocahontas was. (I think it actually started out this way in production) Both Mulan and Hunchback were way more jokey than they should have been. And we never understand just why...

I just meant the Ku Klux thing like, rhetorically. Of course I don't think they should put one in the movie! :P Anyway, I do agree that the movie has some value, and yeah I guess I should see it before I make up my mind. I did watch a clip in a classroom, since the professor was a Disney fana...

I don't care if I never see this film. Other than the animated seqences (which look cute) the film seems pretty racist to me. Not OVERTLY racist but the whole thing with "good old Uncle Remus" strikes me as...tacky, to say the least. And it's irrelevent to say that the film is supposed to take place...

JHM said in a recent story that MTR was 81% done when Lassetter and Catmull decided it needed a do-over. I don't know, but I kinda wish they'd just leave it alone. But that's just me. Or as Baldy McShortypants called it: "A Dog of a Movie with a Dickens of a Twist!" Well I think Oliver's an awesome ...

Some food for thought? http://www.pi.net/upload_mm/3/3/a/1940440216_1999998461_rogerrabbit01_337x253_buenavista.jpg With Benny the Cab it wasn't a big issue with the windshield since he was a convertable. And they made use of his fender as a mouth, which makes him more "obnoxious" looking, but that ...

Ramie doesn't like his villains to be all 100% evil - he said he likes to show the human side of them to. Yup...that's why he rules...Have you seen "Darkman"? That's an early film of his. While we got a fight in the first one, we got Peter using his brains in the second. See? Yeah, I get your point...

From AICN: But that’s why Pixar is Pixar and Fox is Fox. Apparently Fox Animation has no such scruples, no champions of genius within their ranks to fight for the development of a real film. Instead, someone said ‘Cash In’ and they immediately tracked down the janitor to get their wastebaskets back ...
