Yep! I've stayed away from this release myself. Don't want to think about it. Same with the Harry Potter films, which feature frankly rubbish SFX, and the argument is "It's for kids". Well, yes, it's AIMED at kids, but as far as I was aware, the Potter franchise is a bunch of $100m+ budgeted motion ...

That played in realtime on my connection. Really cool, and very funny. Reminded me of the South Park anime episode. I didn't mind the Popeye animation - it looked pretty good to me considering how it's done, but was more put of by his voice. Was close, but not as close as other impersonations I've h...

Check out The Guardian story link from the main page.

Gives you a fair idea of what Pixar thinks of DWs productions. ;)

Well, that IS kind of how it is done.

Looks awful to me. Opens next weekend here.

Well, that's one ticket already sold for the big-screen Baywatch movie coming next year.

Though, I'm kind of thinking there might be some other reasons to see that. At least two, anyway... ;)

I believe that was Paul Terry's studio, which was across the street.

JUST got back from seeing it. It's rated Certificate U here in the UK, which is like being rated G in the US, and I actually think it should have been a PG here too. The UK has a habit of doing that though - all of the original Star Wars films were PG Stateside and a U over here. Anyway, first thoug...

Ed, you sound like Roger Rabbit.

And can I just ask - especially since you were one of the first to pipe up about foul language on the boards - that you stop using the "crap" word.

You do seem to be bending back on your own morals recently.

Anyway, time this subject came to a close...

It's gonna stink. Plus it won't fit with the Shrek version. I'd much rather see the Sherman Brother's Sir Puss in Boots made. They'll MAKE it fit the Shrek version. And who said that it was going to be the traditional story, anyway? It'll be a prequel about how he became the reknowned ogre hunter.....

Actually, there are two:

The start-ups Toy Story and A Bug's Life, followed by TS 2, which found them at the top of their game.

Then Monsters "Ince", Nemo and Incredibles.

Cars will be the third phase: their first true dud.

Anyways, it's all only opinions...

Van Beuren's studio put out the original Tom And Jerrys.

In fact, DVD Toons just ran a review on a cheapo disc that's actually worth seeking out...and only $1.49 from Amazon!

I love Mad, but it's so hard to get it here in the UK.

Regular subscriptions are prohibitively expensive, so it's down to hunting down the odd copy here and there.

I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled for this one though - thanks for the heads up! :)
