The only two projects I really care about in the line is the original film and Stitch Has A Glitch. But...for those looking for the TV series in season sets, remember that Japan uses the same NTSC system and I would be surprised if the original English track wasn't present on the discs, so there is ...

Welcome, Phil!

Yes, Frank Welker is a bona fide living legend as far as most of us are concerned around here. It will be interesting to hear him in such a role.

Of course he's not going to come up with a solution to rid him of the gamma...that would be the end of the Hulk, and no more films!

Let's look at this realistically. Eventually ALL the Disney classics will come to Blu-ray Disc. It's that simple. And they'll follow suit of the other studios by re-issuing them again on SD DVD, just to make sure they hoover up that market too. We don't really need Sleeping Beauty out on DVD again a...

Yes, they're great editions, if you're talking Region 1 (I don't know about R2). Essentially, shrunk down Vault Disney releases, from two-discs to one each. Some complained at the time, but some of those two-discs did repeat or contain a lot of filler material. That actually meant that these single ...

I have the iTunes software and watch vlogs on my PC all the time. If I had a portable device I would no doubt put some stuff on there and use it out and about. However, I'm not going to waste time putting the DC of Nightmare on my PC at home. If I want to watch it on a PC, I'll use the DVD and save ...

My biggest beef is that on things like Nightmare, we're paying a few dollars more for this "privilege".

In a funny way, if I had a portable device and saw fairly priced $5 discs in a store marked for that use and without restrictions, I'd probably think it was cool idea! :?

Digital Copy, Disney File, the great rip-off?

We had a bit of a discussion going on about these in a different thread, but I'd thought I'd start one to discuss these Digital Copy discs, or in the Mouse House talk, Disney File. I can see the value for some, but to me they're just either taking away bonus disc space on a two disc set, or they're ...

You guys are really going to hate my review, hopefully up for Monday.

I've only watched half and will have to will myself with every fibre in my being to sit down to the other half this weekend.

And the Broadway show? Is it me, or does it look really cheap, nasty and tacky?

Sorry! ;)

George got so excited he posted the Bits blurb twice! This is pretty good news, but I do hope Disney sees Blu-ray as a collectors' medium. It's true that news like this will see more families buy into the format, but it will always remain a cinephile experience for the most part. People with familie...

While I'd be up for seeing all those kinds of compilations again, they are 85-90% made up of shorts and sequences that we've already had in these sets! The 1984 show was all new, a live-action special hosted by Dick Van Dyke, with new animated sequences and many an interview with a famous fac...

Down And Out With Donald Duck was pretty cool, but was mostly made up of shortened cartoons and compilation material and was one of many Disney compilation shows made up in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Donald Duck's 50th Birthday special or the This Is Your Life program were full of all-ne...

Droo: I think it's because MO made a big audience impact. Y'know, put the funny sidekick on the box, yeah?
