LOONEY TUNES GOLDEN COLL Volume 2

Okay...it's finally here! While the extras don't add up to the rareness and wow factor of last year's first volume, the cartoons included, among them some of the most requested and all-time great WB titles, could be an even better selection. This is a definite MUST HAVE for classic animation enthusi...

Okay guys...play nice.

Macaluso, no-one's asking you to tone down your "style" or attitude, but let's please be considerate to everyone on the boards.

If this thread continues to become more sarcastic, it will be closed.

Abuse is abuse, whatever tone is adopted.

Thanks. :)

Extremes And Inbetweens is still an "active" title, so ordering shouldn't be a problem. I reviewed it for DVD Toons: http://www.dvdtoons.com/reviews/101 The only two added cartoons were Feed The Kitty and Duck Dodgers In The 24th-And-A-Half Century - both included on the first Looney Tunes box set, ...

I agree with Mr SP.

This new trailer looked a lot better, but the writing isn't quite up there with Pixar's.

They need to get Joe Grant back working for 'em.

I have to agree that, while I am a HUGE BZ fan, this LOOKS like a baaaaad movie.

I've been screaming about this for the best part of a year now. Glad some people are starting to agree! :)

Nope. Apparently not.

Early word was that, apart from the commentary (which is a new one for the DC), all the xtras would be carried over.

As well as the cartoons, a couple of other things were dropped too.

A pain, as this was the release I was going to get. Ahh well...

I have quite a few more than what is shown there.

We used to have a bigger selection, but now down to the latest 20, and I don't think that's been updated in a while.

Any titles in particular you were curious about?

WB has exactly held back this DVD so it can build on BB's Incredibles buzz.

Do not be surprised if there's a "From The Director Of The Incredibles" sticker (or at least mentioned on the synopsis blurb on the back) in the packaging.

Just wanted to add my appreciation for Jawad's input into keeping first Animated Movies and then Animated News going via the messageboards. He certainly helped us out at a tricky time, and will hopefully continue to be a part of the AN family. Thanks Jawad...and welcome everyone to the new boards! :)
