I'm still quite interested in seeing this, despite the fact that the mo-cap makes me cringe every time I see the trailer.

I'll admit that It does look better than any of the stuff from Zemeckis, but the Valley is still Uncanny.

I actually agree with Dusty on the I Bring You a Song sequence. I'm a huge fan of the film, and that scene is probably my favorite.

Meh... It's been difficult for me to take the Oscars seriously ever since Crash was awarded Best Picture.

It was shown as part of a film festival here in the Washington DC area, but I missed it. Grr... Hopefully I'll have another chance.

I REALLY need to see that movie again. I think the last time I saw it was in the theater, when I was around 8 years old.

I'm confused... Are these actual new editions, or are they just putting a new slipcover on the old ones? Plenty of other studios have done this with old editions of films to tie in with holidays.

I passed on that one as well. Still haven't seen it, as I'm pretty sure one of our local theaters will be showing a double feature of both parts 1 and 2 (I'm assuming they will, since they did it for the Twilight movies).

Might as well wait and see the entire thing at once.

I can't stand that dude, or the Black eyed sellouts for that matter. I've never really been a fan of having celebrities play themselves as pointless comic relief characters anyway.

On a positive note, I did like his sidekick, the little canary. He was cute.

And then there was the evil cockatoo. I thought that this character was going to be a hoot, and in a way he was, but perhaps he could've been more of one if the writers have actually played with his backstory more. I loved that he hated pretty birds because he was replaced by one on a TV show, but ...

<t>Good point. It was fun to watch overall. Like I said, it wasn't a bad film. It did have its moments. I really liked most of the character designs, and the scenery was gorgeous. I'm also a sucker for movies about people and their pets (the relationship between Blu and his owner was pretty sweet).<...
