Re: DreamWorks' "Home"

Wow. Potty humour. DreamWorks Animation at its finest.

This movie just doesn't look all that interesting. I do really like or love a lot of DWA films, but this one doesn't do anything for me.

Re: Official Star Wars Thread

Looks good, but it just seems like Jurassic Park with more people in it.

Of course, in a sense, any sequel to JP has pretty much just got to be a remake.

Re: Cinderella - Disney Live-Action Feature

I agree, Dacey. What we've seen so far doesn't really bring anything new or fresh. That's not to say it can't be great, but I'd expected something more... magical.

Indeed, what a career!

Oddly, I only finally watched The Graduate a few weeks ago.

Re: Most underrated animated movie

I do think that Road to El Dorado is underappreciated. It has great animation, lots of laughs, and decent music. I didn't care for the end as much, but as one of DW's few "tradigital" films, I do treasure its existence.

Re: Cinderella - Disney Live-Action Feature

Might be wonderful, might be ho-hum.

Actually, it looks like they're doing a nice job of it, but it just feels a little pointless to me.

I did love Ever After, though.

Looking very positive right now. And I think this style might actually look pretty good in 3D too.

Re: How does everyone feel about Disney these days?

I like the way droo thinks! I agree, too. I try to enjoy everything that I view, and do revisit ALL of the Disney films. (Except Chicken Little. I will someday, but... that is one I really didn't like when I saw it in the theatre. I really should give it another look, though.) EVERY film has ...
