I'm sorry, I just never liked Mulan much. IMO it should have been a lot more serious and true to Chinese culture, the way Pocahontas was. (I think it actually started out this way in production) Both Mulan and Hunchback were way more jokey than they should have been. And we never understand just why...

I don't care if I never see this film. Other than the animated seqences (which look cute) the film seems pretty racist to me. Not OVERTLY racist but the whole thing with "good old Uncle Remus" strikes me as...tacky, to say the least. And it's irrelevent to say that the film is supposed to take place...
