I don't get how the '66 feature can be put out though, as surely the same rules apply. The answer is simple: both companies put out a season each! ;) Darn...it's too late to start taping the really nicely restored prints they're running on the BBC here in the UK...the full two year run every Tuesday...

Well, we'd checked out of the Disneyland Hotel. It was 11am and we didn't need to leave for the airport until 3pm. What to do? Hey, how about catch a morning screening of WALL-E at the Downtown Disney AMC? And so, after a bite of pizza with Rand and family, that's just what we did! After the preview...

Three books sold right here to myself, James and Rand!

Good to meet you guys too, and looking forward to the next one! :)

Yes, Tiny Toons came in and is on the way to me.

Obviously we're still catching up after the Con, but I'll put my words up ASAP. In the short term though, I haven't heard anything that should put anyone off picking this collection up!

Not having any of the sets, I'm in for this, especially at $90.

The 4.5 hrs of new stuff would be great to include specials and TV movies. What would be missing then? Man Called Flintstone and the later Pebbles show? I could live without them being in the big box.

Still need to pick up that Dalmatians set.

Darn it...why can't the Blu-ray come dressed up like that!? ;)

I actually got home first (not that it's a contest!) and then had a lot of catching up to do so didn't get a chance to come online until today. Wow, what a trip. James and Rand have heard all about my sentiments on meeting up (don't worry, the rest of you...it was all good!) but I think we'll all wr...

Darn it! I saw a pretty nice looking Censored 11 disc at the Comic-Con. Granted it was a bootleg and I have most of them anyway, but I was hoping for the chance to grab these officially and the mystery over the bonuses on this edition seemed to point in that direction. However, we can confirm that t...

Dark blue starry sky...Musker and Clement trademark! Lovely teaser...nice to see the Studio putting out exclusive animation again, and it's short and funny so it won't have driven us nuts by the time we've seen it sixteen million times before it hits theaters. Very much a return to the Disney movie ...

From my Animated Views review: LeBeouf is the talk of Tinseltown after Spielberg picked him for the Rear Window remake Disturbia, where he proved himself worthy of jumping into Bay’s Transformers and Spielberg’s own Indiana Jones resurrection, where the young star will play Indy’s son. He’s likable ...

The Martian Before Christmas? That's what this sounds like. What's up with Looney Tunes and Christmas? Seems they're always trying to tie these archaic, non-conformist characters with the warmest, happiest time of year! Best thing would be a spoofed up 50s B-Movie send up as previously mentioned. Ar...

I was very surprised that DWA didn't have a Comic-Con presence this year, either pushing the Kung Fu Panda release or DVD, or even Monsters Vs. Aliens, which would be a natural for Con promotion. This would have been just the place to get fans excited about this particular movie and run the early tr...

I know I was skeptical about another Bats series and skipped this panel for something else I was interested in, but Rand was excited about it when we came out and when it airs in the UK I will be sure to take a look.

Talk about a close call! Good luck for the rest of the trip! It's 10pm here and we're going to grab a couple of hours shut-eye before being up and out at 4:15 to get to the airport and check in (nearly three hours before departure!) for our 8am flight. So...I'm jumping out of the digital world and o...

Well I guessed that there wasn't a lost episode right off but checked it out anyway. Pretty funny...it got very boring very fast, but then picks up again, purely down to the faces the characters were pulling were well matched to the "releasing of bodily wind" sound effects. Be aware, though.....
