That's only because you can't 'film' a video game with 'live actors'. If you could, no 'serious' video games would be mainly animated.

Check out the amount of video games that strive for the "realistic" look. The more realistic, the "better" the graphics.

Don't agree. Better a newer company break in with adult features than Disney waste time trying to shed its family-friendly image.

Specific info I've dug up: - It's free. (That is, you don't need to spend points to download it to DSi.) - You can draw 999 "pages" per "book" - There are 8 different frame rates to choose: 0.5fps, 1fps, 2fps, 4fps, 6fps, 12fps, 21fps, and 30fps. - You can upload your creations to http://ugomemo.hat...

What do you think of John K's stuff?

He's the Ren & Stimpy guy. He has a whole blog and everything:

Some pics may be NSFW.

He has some very strong opinions, and also dishes out quite a lot of lessons on cartoon-drawing/animating.

Love him or hate him?

Forgot about this thread, but better late than never to give some info, now that I've watched through the set: Is there stuff on the DVDs that are already in the book? Answer is yes. I could however argue that there were some parts in the book that I didn't understand until I saw it animated. For ex...

They have to try 3D because there's virtually nothing cinemas can offer that you can't get with BluRays and widescreen TVs.

I wonder if he did the CG ones, too. They're fairly simple in today's world anyway. Yeah, Ms. Purple-dress's entry lasted a little over like twenty seconds. If you want to get technical, though, Mr. Wireframe had the longest 'entry' because his 'standard' walk cycle doesn't start until he changes to...
