Post by ShyViolet » January 4th, 2014, 3:42 pm

For children, with DreamWorks characters:

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Why?!?!? :?
They would probably make more money and have less hassles simply releasing apps for the existing tablets (including the kiddy ones like LeapFrog), smartphones, and computers.

Yeah, it's kind of bizarre. The tablet market is already pretty competitive. I see that this one is being targeted at the kids' market, but it's not like kids don't already love iPods and iPads.

There's already a few specific kiddy-targeted tablets, like the LeapFrog. I don't see as this working out particularly well for Dreamworks. They should just make some apps and some knock-offs of the Disney Infinity "interactive toys".

I agree that it is a little weird...I guess they're just trying to "expand the brand." But they really should have done what Disney did with coming up with a special app to show how animation is done.
Much better and a cost/time saver.
