CNN Ones to Watch to highlight animators

CNN will be doing a special on two of this year's Oscar-nominees for Best Animated Short Film. Pete Docter and Sylvain Chomet (Triplets of Belleville) were each asked to name one of the best new talents in animation. Docter went with his former Pixar co-worker Dice Tsutsumi of The Dam Keeper, while Chomet went with Daisy Jacobs of The Bigger Picture. I got to see all of the short film nominees when they came to theaters ahead of the Oscar ceremony - both of these films are excellent. Dice Tsutsumi is actually married to the niece of Hayao Miyazaki, and I've been following him on Facebook ever since falling love with The Dam Keeper (which is how I found out about this).

Unfortunately, the article above only lists Asian air times, and the CNN website - http://www.cnn.com/specials/world/ones-to-watch - only gives GMT, so I have no idea whether I'll be able to watch it here in the US. Does anyone know more about this? I'd love to be able to watch it, if not on TV, then at least online!

These are similar to what the BBC showed here in the run up to the Oscars. I wonder if they basically used the same EPK tape footage to make up each of their segments?

I thought the Dam Keeper was just lovely, and both that and Bigger Picture were more accomplished than eventually winner Feast which, as I said in my Big Her 6 review, I suspect was picked by voters as they didn't bother to actually watch the nominated films and just went with the Disney name they knew. A shame, since there were some good shorts this year, and made with differing techniques.
