Did you know that, while producing Cinderella III, Disney was also creating an original musical called Twice Charmed, for Disney Cruise Line, a stage musical with the same kind of "twist in time".
Discover now all the secrets of both productions through a "bibbidinterview" of the songwriters of both projects, Michael Weiner & Alan Zachary.
Just for you from Media Magic!

Thanks for the notices, Phil! :)

I recently read your interview, with the Cindy III producer, Margot Pipkin. And I must say, you did an outstanding job! I learned so much more about her, and how she got started at Disney and whatnot. It was also nice, getting a little information on how Cinderella II was incorporated.

I'll have to catch up on your latest entries, but keep up the good work!

Thanks a million for your compliment, Daniel! I'm glad I can provide a little info to Disney fans and pay tribute to the Disney guys who make us dream!

And now, come for a new voyage to Neverland with Media Magic and enjoy our interview of Jonatha Brooke, songwriter of I'll Try, the main song of Peter Pan 2 : Return to Neverland, following the re-release of the film on dvd, here in France.

It's just about Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust!

You are most welcome, Phil. It was my pleasure. :)

I just finished reading your recent entry, and really enjoyed it. I remember some of that information being discussed on the Neverland dvd, but it was nice getting more details.

Other intersting tibits, is how France lables it as "2". Here in the US, its simply titled Peter Pan in: Return To Neverland. Which makes it sound a little like a live action movie, with the "in" part. Its still good, but I prefer it the way France has it.

Once again, great job! :)

Thank you SO MUCH for your comments, guys. You made my day, and even more!
And today, a new interview : Joel McNeely, composer of Return to Neverland. It's a kind of an introduction to the artist, his style, and how it shows withing his score for the film. Just to prepare you to another interview with him, to be published soon, about Cindy III.
Really, a great artist whose music makes you fly!

The release of CINDERELLA III was the perfect occasion for Media Magic to pay tribute to the original 1950 masterpiece... in a very unusual way : we publish today an interview we did of film music composer and conductor JAC Redford (THE LITTLE MERMAID, LEROY & STITCH), who conducted a new recording of the score of Cinderella by Oliver Wallace and Paul J. Smith in 1994 for Walt Disney Record. A great specialist of this music, and of animation music in general tells us about his vision of the masterpiece, and why it is, still today, a lesson for any animation and animation music lover.

Many thanks, Daniel!

And now, Bridge to Terabithia is released tomorrow here in France and Media Magic wanted to go further into this magical experience with an extensive interview of director Gabor Csupo who talks about his desire to direct such a film, and about his humanistic and artistic approach to the subject and to the whole production.

If you liked that much my Gabor Csupo interview (which makes me so happy!), then discover today the one I did with Bridge to Terabithia scriptwriter Jeff Stockwell.
A very detailed conversation about the adaptation of the book and the meaning of tiny details of the film you may have not seen...
Come and RE-discover Terabithia!
