Darn, that's not the thread where I either:
A) proposed that even for his R&S one-hit-wonder, there were probably only two or three toons total that ever captured the artistic style what he probably thought the series was about (we can assume "Stimpy's Invention" at the top of the short-list), and the rest was lame self-indulgence in an age before Nicktoons turned spastic retro-kitsch into an assembly line,
or
B) referred to John K. as "the Tim Burton of animation"--and not as a compliment :evil: --for putting out his delusional DVD/Blog-commentary animation-expert shingle as Final Authority on all things Looney and Hanna-Barbera...Despite basically stomping all over most of HB's appeal, and not even bothering with anything Looney that wasn't spastically directed by Bob Clampett.

...He'd have been fame-dead long ago, if his Cult could only stop using him as a Symbol of Their Own Deeper Ambitions, and let go of wishing 90's cable would come back again. :cry:
