They really need a TaleSpin comic now.
Not only would the Disney Afternoon "revival" not be complete without it, but it was also the best of the bunch!!

Golly..!

Now, get crackin' on that C&D:RR Volume 3 DVD set, Walt Disney Home Video .. Boom! has got your promotion covered.

And Electric Tiki Design has already done their part, as well. :D

Golly is right! Those are some nice cover designs, which really remind me of some of the really classic Disney comics. What I like about what Boom is doing with their various titles is how they stick close to the sensibilities of the property they are dealing with, and don't try and reinvent the wheel, while also bringing a freshness to them.

Loving that Cover A action myself. :)

Who did the covers?(they are pretty cool, whoever did them I need to get that to design a cover for myself) anyways...is it even possible for Disney to make DTD{Direct-to-DVD} films of Darkwing Duck and RR now that they are back in comics? Doesnt sound like a bad idea if you ask me.

Yeah, I would support that as long as they bring Tad Stones back to work on them.

Disney has been pulling a lot of their outsourced comic book contracts lately, i.e. Tokyopop and Slave Labor Graphics. I wonder if they will do the same thing to Boom. I hope they don't, since they do a great job. But does Disney have plans of starting their own comics line through Disney Press?

Or, um, I don't know.... Marvel?

Well, yes, of course Marvel. I don't think Spider-Man and Mickey Mouse are going to be hanging out in New York anytime soon.

I'm thinking of the Disney and Pixar characters and The Muppets. Those enterprises are radically different from the Marvel universe.

But that does enforce my question. Will Disney dump Boom and use Marvel to print Disney comics?

Not anytime soon, as new projects are obviously still being announced. But look for it to happen someday.

I like chip and Dale as Disney comics and also this cartoon impressed me a lot rather than other comics.

Not as radically different as you may think. Marvel did print Muppets, Muppet Babies & Fraggle Rock comics under their STAR Comics banner in the mid-eighties, along with many other toy & cartoon properties.

Admittedly, they were not part of the "Official Universe" but there is some history there...
