James Newton Howard

Even though M. Night Shamylan's films have their flaws, IMO they are immeasurably helped by Howard's scores.

I can't express how awesome I think the Sixth Sense music is. I can never find it in stores, however. Probably one of the most multi-layered scores ever.

I also loved his music for Signs, and even Lady in the Water.

He's done many other scores as well, such as The Devil's Advocate (they often use the opening notes for movie trailers) and My Girl.

James Newton Howard's scores for DINOSAUR, ATLANTIS, and TREASURE PLANET rank high among my favorites from recent years .. his score for the recent live-action PETER PAN was also quite good.

I liked the King Kong soundtrack that he did. That was great.

The opening of Signs was the best thing about the movie. Love his Kong stuff too.

Yeah, that was amazing...I love the Sixth Sense opening too.

Oh yeah, I had the Peter Pan (2003) music as well, VERY nice themes (if different and more naturalistic than John Williams' trademark, though impressive, fantasy-epic medly for Hook)

I want the Kong music too! Ahhhh....so much stuff to get! :? :P
