Yes, folks, there WAS an unaired episode of the original "Star Trek."
It has now been recovered, remastered, and posted online!
It was controversial for its time and was never aired on national TV. Paramount tried in vain to recover the lost footage but it remained lost for decades until the last "Popeye the Sailor" reels were transferred to WB.
The episode title is "Lethal Atmosphere."

Well I guessed that there <I>wasn't</I> a lost episode right off but checked it out anyway.
Pretty funny...it got very boring very fast, but then picks up again, purely down to the faces the characters were pulling were well matched to the "releasing of bodily wind" sound effects.
Be aware, though...there's some frankly unneeded strong language used in some of the subtitles. A shame they felt they had to swear...would have actually been funnier without.
DAN: I reckon this topic could be merged with one of the other TOS threads?
