Which upcoming Disney sequel are you most anticipating?

Totally agree with PatrickvD, the general mood and look of Tarzan2 doesn't seems appealling to me, too ridiculous compared to the gorgeous first movie. Plus, tha plot can't be more boring, who cares to see Tarzan as a youngster when tons of possible plots could have created a great sequels in a pure King of Ape style. Sad we'll get a kiddie oriented product instead.

To answer the poll, Kronk get me curious, Lilo2 used to, but after watched the trailer, the animation didn't look so cool as on stills.

Well, 95% of the animation in the Tarzan II trailers seems to be perfectly on a par with the original. And just because they have this movie now where he is young doesn't mean they can't have more later when he is an adult.

Yeah, but that's the movie I'm waiting for.

Cut the "mid-quels" and give us PROPER sequels if they have to: I wanna see Tarzan go back to London, like in the second half of the original book!

Exactely! In the bonus of the Bambi DVD, i laughed so hard when they tried to justify the sequel, well the midquel, stressing the fact that those scenes were orginally planned but cut by Walt. Now they're doing a whole movie of deleted scenes from Walt... How great!

Oh yeah can't wait to see more and more sequels, why spendin money on uninteresting plots and keep the real exciting stories for later... ? Apart from making money on kids..

Cast your vote against them by not watching them. Heck, write your opinion to Disney. They actually read all their mail and make decisions based on overall trends.

Is anyone else shocked that Lilo & Stitch 2 has been rated 'PG'?

I guess this crushes that "Disney's DTV's are for the '10 and under' crowd only" theory that most people seem to have.

I just went to watch the Tarzan trailer. Most of the animation IS pretty onpar with the original.
Put that movie up on my list of movies I wish to see now.

Secondly... I love how Disney basically gave away the entire movie. And the ending. in the trailer >.<

The PG rating for "Lilo & Stitch 2" does seem shocking, but it shouldn't. After all, the original was rated PG.

As far as I know, DTV movies don't *have* to get MPAA ratings, but it's something that the studio usually wants on their product. For example, look at the boxes for "Aladdin II & III". Both films aren't rated. Feels a little weird. But then, you look at the box for "Mulan II", see that G rating, and it just feels more satisfying. An MPAA rating makes a movie feel more...official.

ALL movies have to be rated in order to be screened theatrically.

Since the DTVs are often given limited runs, or at least a premiere, they need to be run past the MPAA.

In this case, it also gives Disney the "seal of approval" and consumers know what to expect.

Funny to think that some Disney DVDs are "Unrated"!

I saw Tarzan II today and it's a great little movie. The Phil Collins songs are nice, but not as good as in the original. I do like the song "Who am I" and the reprise of it at the end of the movie. There are some emotional scenes in the movie (with Kala especially) that almost made me cry (it was sort of a "return to the original" moment). I really really liked the movie, but there are a lot of forced emotions in it from Tarzan IMO. However, that doesn't spoil the movie... There are a lot of funny moments in it and I had a lot of great laughs (especially from Zugor and suprisingly from Young Tantor). Wow, I sound like a child
