Re: Disney's Cruella (Live-Action)
Digital release June 25, with subs D+ late Jul/Aug, and then the disc (inc BD and 4K releases) on Sept 21.
Specs:
4K includes Dolby Atmos, while regular Blu-ray features 7.1 DTS-HDMA.
Extras include bloopers, two deleted scenes and featurettes:
“The Two Emmas” — the lead actresses and how they prepared for their roles;
“The Sidekick Angle” — Fry and Hauser as Jasper and Horace;
“Cruella Couture” — behind-the-scenes look at the fashionable moments;
“The World of “Cruella” — exploration of the locations and sets of Cruella;
“New Dogs … Old Tricks” — a look at the animal actors of the film;
“Cruella 101” — hidden Easter eggs and connections to other movies.
No mention on ratio, though I noted D+ showed a 2:1 framing which is broadly what most streamers go for thesedays, almost filling the 16:9 frame, but looking more "cinematic" and approaching 2.39. I did wonder a few times if it had been shot safe for 2.39, but I’d be good either way.
Given the September date, I know what I’m getting for my birthday!

Definitely looked at little wider on D+, but I’m good with that. It certainly didn’t look like it would be easily cropped, so I’m guessing they took the 1.85 and matted it a touch more for near two to one, to make it look like more of a "film" and not a "TV movie".

Re: Disney's Cruella (Live-Action)
Cruella, as much as I loved it, was always a film that didn’t ever have terrific advertising promos. None of the covers really sell the film or have striking one-sheet style art: the best of a bad bunch is the regular Blu-ray set, which I wish had also been used on the 4K. The Walmart isn’t bad, for Em of course, though she looks more wanton mistress than cheeky rebel, and that much used photo is more about the film's star than the film itself or even Cruella the character. The others all feature too much imagery (the car, the Dalmatians) that actually doesn’t play into the film too significantly anyway. I don’t think they ever really nailed this down to one or two key art images that really conveyed the film.

I like the artsy-ness of the Target edition, but you're right--- none quite capture the film.

My "standard" 4K Cruella turned up today, and the sleeve looks better fa realz. Don’t know if all editions come with it, but the blood red case is a nice touch and makes it a little bit more special. I did like this movie!
