Very cool site focused on opening (and closing) titles of films.

Heaven...I'm in heaven...

There's also another site featuring title sequences. There are some repeats, but the focus seems to be more on foreign and independent films:

Aw, cool! I was thinking about making a site like that! I've always been enamored by credits. I thought I was the only one! Call me crazy, but I think there should be an Oscar for title sequences!

I mean Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events' paper cut-out sequence was so cool!

And the ending to Wall-E was equally awesome.

Even Sex Drive had a neat sequence with the whole IM messaging credits.
Feature Animation Favorites:
  • Tekkonkinkreet, Watership Down, A Town Called Panic, Howl's Moving Castle, Rio 2096, Mind Game, Fantastic Planet

And the only good word ever raised in "Mannequin"'s defense was that it had the same Sally Cruickshank animated titles that "Ruthless People" had...

Very cool site! I agree with Neal, an Oscar for this kind of stuff would be neat to see.

I haven't looked for it but it's probably safe to assume something exists out there in the media and design world to recognize excellence in film titles.
