Awesome!!! :D

This was the only one of the compilation features that I actually liked as a kid. I remember renting it at the video store over and over and over and over......

This is great news! I always thought this was the best of the movies because it was the only one with an actual plot rather than simple short-linking scenes (even the second best, "1001 Rabbit Tales", suffered from this to some extent). It'll be nice to see "Night of the Living Duck" again.

I don't know about "rare", but I guess these "new" 1980s ones are rarely seen.

Don't forget that the film also opens with the then-new cartoon The Duxorsist (or however you spell it)...funny stuff.

Correction, Ben. The Duxorcist was incorporated into the film itself when Daffy makes a house call. The short at the beginning (with all the monsters in a nightclub) was "Night of the Living Duck".

Ya got me. Yep...the monster nightclub one is the one that opens the film. I hope that stays as the opening on this DVD: I saw this once on TV and it opened without Night Of The Living Duck in its rightful place.

Hey, ladies and gentlemen...Mr Mel Torme... ;)

I love that short! ^___^ Especially the song about the monsters:

They'll steal your heart...
Tear you apart...
Limb from limb...
On a whim...

And, like most 80's neo-toons, has an annoying obsession with regurgitating fan retro cult-quotes and specific in-joke cameo characters.

(Y'see, he's singing "Monsters lead such interesting lives", and that's llike what Bugs Bunny said in that one when he was pretending to be the hairdresser in front of Gossamer, I mean Rudolf, and... 9_9
Oh, and "Duxorcist", that's the one with that redhead duck from the one where Daffy was pretending to be a detective, and...MAKE YOUR OWN DANGED CARTOONS!!)
