Any Redwall fans?

A Redwall movie should be out soon!

I really enjoyed the animated series back when it aired, but that was many years ago. I even tried giving the book a shot, though I don't think I managed to get very far in it.

This feature film should be interesting.

Finally! I've been dreaming of this ever since I first discovered the books (I was 12 or 13 then). I always imagined that a movie, done properly, could do very well by playing to the same market as Harry Potter or even Lord of the Rings (since the world of Redwall has the same depth and sense of history to it as LOTR does). There's plenty of books to choose from for sequels too. Even if they made movies continuously for 20 years, they couldn't cover them all. Man oh man, this is going to be the longest two years ever.

I read this quick and my brain told me it said "Chronicles Of Randall", as in our very own reviewer here at AN&V, Mr Cyrenne.

Go figure!

Then again, I'd probably read a "Chronicles Of Randall" strip, actually... ;)

I liked the books back when I was a kid, haven't touched them in years though.

I Love Redwall. I'm super excited. A bit disappointed because it was my dream to be the director or have a hand in a movie adaption of Redwall. I hope whoever does it they do it right. :D Can't wait to hear more news and see some images.

Yep. No Redwall movie. :(

There is an "official" Redwall game though: Redwall: The Warrior Reborn.
(No Mac version last time I chacked, so I haven't played it and my Mac would be too old anyway.)

As an aside, here in New Zealand the Redwall TV series often gets re-run on the Maori TV channel here, but dubbed into the Maori langauge ... it's strange watching the characters speaking Maori, not that I understand any of it.
