I had more prosaic reasons for why I didn't buy the Criterion DVD of Time Bandits --
1) it was $20 more than the Anchor Bay DiviMax version; and
2) the DiviMax version had a more recent, superior video transfer.

As for the extras, without looking at everything, what is Gilliam going to say about the film that he hasn't said for over 20 years? :wink:

Exactly. I'm waiting to pick up Bandits on Blu, since the Criterion image is non-anamorphic and washed out by comparison (like Brazil, they used the LaserDisc master for their initial DVD).
