Nah, this seems like an ok thread to post this, and thanks for doing so, JV! :D

Awesome that thq is making another Cars video game, because, the last one wasn't all that great. Well, for the DS version anyway. :?

This one at least sounds promising, so hopefully it does not dissapoint.

All I can say is: I'm counting the days until the Ratatouille DS game!! :)

It involves simulated cooking, that's all I'm going to say!

Just be careful and read some reviews of the game before you buy it Vi!!
Movie games (especially on handheld consoles) tend to get a mediocre treatments and while some may suprise, a lot of them are really really bad.

Yeah, so I've heard.....the only reason this interested me was 'cause it was supposed to be a "different" type of game with cooking stuff in it (a la Cooking Mama? :) )

I've seen DS and in particular Game Boy Advance adaptations of Superman, Flushed Away, Cars, and they all look awful! :(

Some of the GBA movie adapts are available very cheap if you get them used but I have never bothered....

Here's the Cooking Mama DS game! :) I hope Ratatouille takes a page from them!

(There's a Wii CM game too now.)

Cooking Mama looks like fun, Nintendo always gets the fun, innovative and experimental games!!
I'm so glad they're back on top of the game after a couple of unfortunate & slow years.

Cars is definetly bad. Its not what the cover leads you to believe at all. Ditto Flushed Away.

Thank goodness I got them used! :)

Really? Cool! Are you sure it's an actual sequel, though, and not the new Wii game? That's the only one I've heard of as of yet, I could be wrong however.....

I have no clue if its a real sequel, but yes, I was talking about the new Wii game.

So.... Whether or not its a sequel, she is making a comeback! :)

From the Digital Bits.
Our industry sources are also telling us to expect Disney's Cars Blu-ray Disc to street in September.
The good news is, it comes out during Ben's bday month. The bad news, guess James is gonna have to wait 3 more months. ;)

Awwe, Dan, you remembered.

Actually, the Pirates movies and Cars may be my first BRD purchases - I'm going to treat myself to a player for my b'day. ;)

Hehe, yeah.... ;)

For Cars, I thought as much, but a nice selection nonetheless. Here's hoping you do get your player!
