Not step on any politcal issues? Yeah, good luck with that. ANYTHING can be considered a major offense as far as China's film censors are concerned (they had to cut a Chinese security guard being killed in Skyfall...had to cut all of Chow Yun-Fat's scenes from the third Pirates movie...the list goes on and on!). Unless the movie portrays the country as nothing short of "perfect," of course, then they'll be just fine. :roll:
