You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Looks like Trousdale's found a new nest at DreamWorks. Judging by his output there, he may have been responsible for the wackier parts of Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Atlantis. His former collaborator Kirk Wise has been quiet aside from consulting jobs and directing the English voice actors for Spirited Away… I wonder if he's been up to anything.

Didn't Trousdale direct the Shrek Christmas special from a while back? Or was that Kirk Wise? Trousdale is certainly the more "wacky" of the pair...! :)

Think that was Trousdale. Either way, DW should just be going for "wacky" iconography, and not give us the hypocritical mix of 'Boomer demographic kissup and bitter deconstructionist bile that the '00 live-action/hybrid movie socked us with.
Good thing about Dreamworks greed, they don't fool around with ulterior motives. :)

(We also had a "restored" Fractured Fairy Tales short back before the Brendan Fraser "Dudley Do-Right", but doubt you'll find anybody who remembers it. Still, gives you an idea that it's hard to do primitive seat-of-the-pants Jay Ward in our hipster-CN era.)
