Can't argue with that....

Oh, man, I've started another debate.

pushing the release date might be a bad sign... and there is development on a TV series spinoff... but I imagine that they'll want to see how the movie does

Looking forward for guys with tits in an animated feature!!! Cause Macaluso doesn't care..!! lol..

Remember that most animated movies, are made for kids and that studios have some kind of responsibility and let's make kids think that a Bull has udders..!! LOL

In spongebob, all the water under water and Fire under water is part of the gags and it works... But in BY...HAHA it's funny but not in the same way, just bad concept

I LOVE Comic Book Guy.

"Are you the Beer Baron?"

"Yes, but only at night. By day, I'm a mild-mannered reporter."

"But Aquaman, you cannot marry a woman without gills! You're from two different worlds!"

*atomic missle about to hit*

"Oh, I've wasted my life."

(I know how he feels!  )

Just got back from Barnyard. I've tried to be not too negative about the recent animated films I've seen when I post here. But this movie was not good. Kids may like the frantic pace and colorful animation but other than that this movie doesn't have much going for it. No real story, and what story there is is entirely predictable. Not a great voice casting match with the characters. Animation pretty bad, including a lot of choppy animation half way through to the end.

Since I really want to say something good about every animated film i post about here, here's all I have for this one. The coyote character designs were very cool. And the voice of the lead coyote Dag was really good.

If you're going with kids, they will probably enjoy it. Otherwise go see one of the other four animated films currently in theatres!

I don't know. But the problem may be that there probably isn't a way to make a cow design look good if the cow walks around on two legs and is a male! You may be just asking too much of the animators!

On a side note - I was reading a collection of Far Side comics and realized how much they had in common with Barnyard. Take, for instance, this -

To get us off on a tangent...Here's a photoshop contest at Fark.com from this week where the theme was to make real life version of Far Side cartoons. Some funny stuff!
