Are these like real sized Muppets? Or just little "whatnots"?

What a great idea, though I'd like to see an image where size is made more clear.

At $90, that's amazingly cool to have your own Muppet! :)

Oh! Too cool! I actually think I'd enjoy getting one of those... the style choices so far are fun.

OMG! I am so like soooooooooooooooo getting one of those now!!

As Rand knows, I actually got given an actual Kermit by Jim Henson when my Dad worked on the original Muppet Show in the 1970s. Me being six or seven, however, and at the age where you think things will be around forever, used and abused it to make my own 8mm Kermit adventures, throwing him off cliffs, out of cars, gawd, all manner of things...into sea water...ugh :(

Needless to say he's now washed up (no pun intended) and looking pretty worse for wear. The eyes fell off some time ago too, so he's in pretty bad shape, with holes where the material has become thinned out. Bummer.

So...going for something like this wouldn't be a replacement as such, but something I could treat a little better!!

Really great, and amazing value...a proper Henson-customised Muppet for less than $100? Wowsers!

This is awesome! This is why I feel so terrible when toy stores shut down. I lost my Toys R' Us and Zany Brainy in the last eight years. It's so sad. Tell me you can do something like this at Wal*Mart... absolutely not! I hate how box stores have pushed out the good old fashioned, much more creatively stimulating toy stores.

If I had $90 to kick around, I would totally get myself a muppet!

"Mickey's Christmas Caral" sounds like some kind of crazy hybrid festive-western! I'd love to see that!

"I hear you're the stingiest slinger in the west, Ebenezer Scrooge..."

"Yeah, I's hates throwing them bullets around...now git back t'work and shoot anyone who wants that there Christmas Day off..."

BANG!

A Muppet Christmas: Letters to Santa

Post by Josh » December 18th, 2008, 10:07 am

NBC has placed A Muppet Christmas: Letters to Santa at Hulu.com. I haven't seen the special, which had its TV debut last night. Still, I've heard that it's pretty good.

I obviously didn't see the special, being stuck here in the old country, but we just watched The Muppets Christmas Carol last week again and I'm doggone if it's perhaps not the best of all the Muppet films. Gets me every time.

Isn't there a new Muppet Show styled series that pairs the troupe with the current Disney Channel stars? I read something about that playing on a digital channel here that I don't get, but it sounded interesting.
