New Dragon Ball short film available for free online viewing

Post by GeorgeC » November 24th, 2008, 6:50 pm

The catch is that the 30-minute film requires

A) Internet Explorer
B) PC, Windows XP or better
C) and a proprietary browser viewer which must be downloaded and installed.

D) It does, however, have subtitle options. Figures they knew they'd get plenty of international viewing!

Mac folks and people who prefer Firefox are out of luck.

More info and links to the short are here http://www.animenation.net/blog/

No news on any license for this short film or anything else that came out of the Shonen Jump festival earlier this year.

In addition to the Dragon Ball short, new shorts were created with Ranma 1/2 and Inu Yasha.

The Ranma and Dragon Ball shorts represent the first original animation created for those series (outside of video games) in over 12 years.

Probably as good a time as any to recommend the venerable IE Tab to users of the Firefox. I may have to use IE but I don't have to leave my browser to do it 8)

Well, here it is! At least the start of it....!

Thanks to our Spanish-speaking friends for somehow getting the subbed version of the new Dragonball short on Youtube.

It's in four parts because of YouTube's length policy. Not a bad short, really!

Watch it while you can folks. It'll probably get pulled soon!
