I've never seen the show, but having heard good things I might have to pick it up.

I think Shout! recently announced a major new licensee...guess we know who that is now. :D

Pre-ordered the second I got home from work yesterday. 8)

Apparently if you pre-order now it'll ship two weeks early.

Yes, all of Shout's preorders will ship early when you buy direct from them. Plus, they give you a free rolled lithograph with this one.

So, you guys figure I should give this show a shot, then? :)

Must say I’m tempted too, since I’ve heard nothing but good things, mostly from you guys here. I’m generally not a TV buying guy, since there just isn’t the time to watch (and any plans to slot an episode in here and there always gets scuppered somehow by trying to catch something airing live at the time!), but maybe if I see this on a sale I’ll nab it.

In a nutshell, though, remind me what’s so great about this again? :)

To mark the 10th anniversary, Alex Hirsch shares a list of revision requests he received from Disney. (Warning for language, although ironic given the subject!) Yeah, most of the requests were cray-cray! But it's kinda funny the stuff that got left in...

I saw this the other day. Hilarious!

"'Not approved by S&P"' is approved by S&P"

It’s so true though…you always get cray-cray notes like these from "higher up"…

If you haven't picked up the complete series yet:
Shout! Factory wrote:GRAVITY FALLS [Collector's Edition] is going out of print, so stock will no longer be replenished effective March 2023. It includes audio commentaries w/ creator @_AlexHirsch + cast & crew and deleted scenes ft. over an hour of never-before-seen content! https://shoutfactory.com/product/gravit ... ct_id=6756
Got mine when it first came out. Amazing set!

Great set, for sure. I plowed through the shows with my kids, and enjoyed the copious bonus features. However, while the show is enjoyable, I wouldn't say that it met my inflated expectations, based on the huge love others have shown it. Good for one watch, but then I sold it. But for fans, the Blu-ray set is terrific.
