Saturday morning and Syndication cartoons return!

Post by gaastra » July 8th, 2017, 8:40 am

Shocked you guys have not posted this yet!

http://www.toonbarn.com/other-cartoons/ ... oon-block/

Looks like a Saturday morning syndication block is coming to any network that wants to air it from 7am to 10am! Shows are all older shows (and three I never heard of) but when is last time we had kids cartoons in syndication or on Saturday mornings that are not pbs crap!

It will also be streamed online of course on Saturday mornings.

Hope this starts a trend and we get more syndication cartoons.

Lineup (80s Robocop cartoon is on there!)

Max steel
Miraculous tales of ladybug and cat noir
Pac-man and the ghostly adventures (ugh. Should of aired the 80s one)
Pink panther and pals
Robocop 80s cartoon
Rocket monkeys (what is this?)
Sonic X (back on Saturday mornings!)
Super 4 (what is this?)
Zack storm super pirate (???)

Back in the 00's, I think, but no one noticed--Syndication had pretty well bitten the dust by that point, since just about every former UHF station was now owned by a network, and the rest had given up and handed it all over to cable. Think WB had their own morning lineup, and Fox was still in there pitching.

Also, most of them seem to be old titles from the 80's-00's, meaning, few new ones seem to be MADE anymore, except for the French one that's already been showing on Netflix. (Um, like all the other new syndie shows...)
