As long as they get to keep the same style. I'd hate to see Peanuts go all "Scooby Doo And The Halloween Dude From Direct-To-Video-Ville" or something.

I don't know if its true, but I read somewhere that they can't do that.

But if WB can... EWW.

YES! If anyone hasn't noticed, I'm really looking forward to the special. I mean, its one of my favorite TV traditions of all time! The "Your Not Elected" is good too, if just for the ending. Thanks for the notice, gaastra! :)

Ps, here's an old thread for such an occasion.

And for those who haven't seen it, it's just for the ending that the two will always end up being shown together...

Animated News wrote:DVDActive reports that Warner Home Video has announced a deluxe edition of the 1975 animated short Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown, which will be available to own on January 15th. This newly-remastered 30-minute TV special will be presented in 4:3 full frame, along with an English Mono track. Extras on the disc will include an Unlucky in Love: An Unrequited Love Story featurette, as well as the TV specials You're in Love, Charlie Brown and It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown.
I don't think I've ever seen "Be My Valentine", or if I did, I don't remember it to well. Whenever I try to place it, I recall the modern one, that's well, not a favorite of mine. I mean, how many times does Charlie Brown say 'the little red hair girl'? Very annoying.

I really love the cover art, though! Its plain, but it works.

Ps: ABC is airing "A Charlie Brown Christmas" Tomorrow at 8:00pm. :)

Oddly enough, yes and very soon. :!: This Monday (12/3) at 8:00pm.

I say odd, because while its not uncomman for ABC to re-air "A Charlie Brown Christmas", they usually wait until its closer to Christmas. - Unless my TV guide is lying and its really the "I Want a Dog For Christmas" special, in which case expect the 'classic' to air later on in the month. I would still tune in regardless, but I'll keep you posted, Otis. :)

I may well hold out on these WB releases in the short term and wait and see if they go for some kind of box set route down the line.

Very nice to see them handling them properly like this though, with such good value. There's another title been announced too, right?
