Disney being sued over Wreck-It Ralph

Apparently someone thinks Disney stole their idea:

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

The pitch was allegedly made in 2012? I guess that Disney must've worked really fast to steal his ideas, considering the movie came out that year and all. ;)

Seriously, he has no case here.

Darn, the article already beat me to the mention of "Joe Jump".
(The Hero's Duty scene was one of the few Joe remnants remaining in the storyline, as was the idea of a cart-race world.)

If you look at the deleted-storyboards on the disk, WIR went through more discarded story ideas until its final form than American Dog and Snow Queen combined. (Ralph is a furry monster? Ralph is a robot? Felix is the main character? King Kandy sends them on wacky sabotaged quests to find car parts for Vanellope? The Hero's Duty guy in the bar becomes Ralph's dude-buddy and sends him to Sims-topia?)
You have to love how naive armchair litigators always think Disney had one idea and went with it.
