Test footage of The Batman:

Pretty cool looking so far. Not automatically ugly. Just that the cowl is more leathery than armor like. I can dig it. Bring on Battinson!

By the way, the little bit of music gives me vibes of Batman: The Animated Series theme:

Just as long as this movie accepts the fact we a dealing with a grown man dressed as a bat and doesn't try to make it set in the 'real world' I'm happy to give it a go. The Dark Knight Trilogy made me hate Batman with a passion. The BatFleck version helped me on the road to accepting Batman again, so who knows maybe this movie will restore my like for the character.

Such a practical bike design. Let’s hope he doesn’t have to break too fast...and get gouged on those bat-eared spikes!

I hate that costume so much. After Adam West, I really have only liked Batfleck's costume.

For me it's Bats '92 that gets my vote for post-Adam Batman costume. I can see why you like the Affleck one, since it kind of resembles Bats '66, but I only just recently heard that this take gets called Batdad, or something similar, since he looks a bit old and fat and flabby, I guess? Anyway, I didn’t know about that (or really think he looked that bad), but that did make me smile.

Keaton in '92's Returns, though? Sleek and awesome, without being silly or bulky, and looking jet-black amazing under those blue and purple gels!

The '92 suit was okay. But I like my Batman in blue and grey. :) I also prefer a less "armored" look. The Batfleck Batsuit had the look of being less "enhancing." Batfleck looked legitimately muscular.

I hadn't heard the term BatDad but I did feel BatFleck's suit did make Batman look chubby instead of muscly.

Another look at the suit:

And on set photo. Would be interesting if that is indeed the inspiration.

I don't mind the film being based on The Long Halloween (though hopefully it is better written), but that suit! Ugh.

Could this be like early Cap, though, before the "real" suit comes along?

Same. Not exaggerating, that’s actually the worst Batsuit I’ve ever seen in my whole life. Worse than Bale’s, even worse than the 1940s serials.

Too bulky. Too campy. Too campy AND too creepy! Honestly...I’m at a loss for words. :?

(I have mixed feelings on the Batfleck one which was certainly “different”, but it’s MILES ahead of this crud.)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
