You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
Hey WJ, who's your favorite character in ST? Is it Angie?
I love Sykes, but I think Lola is a great character, I LOVE her animation and the way she's designed. I thought Angelina did a great job.
I also like the part when Oscar's with Angie, Lola comes along, he gets flustered and says: "Oh, Lola, you've got to come best my meet friend!"
Ha ha.
Also when the two Jellyfish (LOVED them) did the little thing with the hotdogs after Oscar strikes out with Lola at the track: "Lola, come back, I'm not a nobody.....I'm a weiner!"

Yeah, they were also one of my favorite things. I loved their designs right from the first trailer.I also like Bernie and Ernie.
Rasta Jellyfish! Mr. Sykes was also great, Scorcase was hilarious! With respect to others' opinions, I seriously still do not understand people's problems with this film.
The only thing that totally did NOT belong in the movie and stood out like a sore thumb was Robert De Niro. It wasn't just his recognizable voice (it's not like could have helped that) but it was a very weak performance--both voice-over wise and acting wise. You could so tell he was reading off a script. Also whatever comic timing he had in Meet the Parents/Fockers was NOT in evidence here.
It's really too bad that James Gandolfini backed out, I think he would have been tons better. He can actually be very funny on the Sopranos, believe it or not. Especially with Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli) playing his "son"! Alas, it would have been so perfect....
(If only Sinbad and Shark Tale could be re-edited with Russell Crowe as Sinbad and James Gandolfini as Don Lino--DW would gain a lot of new respect IMHO.

Nah, gotta disagree with you there. De Niro was great, and besides, it was a fun way for him to be reuninted with Martin Scorsese (after "Raging Bull"). I think his voice suits the character perfectly.

Again, I have to disagree. I just saw Gandolfini in "All the King's Men" the other day. Did the man sound like he could voice a shark? Not really. Besides, since he's so well known as Tony Soprano, it would've been taking "Type-casting" to an extreme, don't you think?

So, yeah, AFTER all those, it was a fun way for them to be "reuninted"!
Russell Crowe was the original choice for the voice of Sinbad before he found he couldn't "act for animation" and backed out.
