Just saw this today...loved it!! Voice performances so brilliant and affecting, artwork astonishing, script quite deeper than I was expecting. So happy; feels like a return to form for DWA! If all their films following this are up to this quality than I really see them turning a corner here. (OK, wasn't too impressed with the Trolls trailer, but as you said Dacey they haven't released any real footage yet so maybe there's more to it than meets the eye.) And once again, (as many critics have pointed out) James Hong is a standout as Po's adopted dad! :D

By the way, excellent review Dacey! Very well written and to the point, basically sums up my feelings towards the film. :)

This character seems...very familiar.

Yes, the black eyes and round white head do tend to emphasize the whole Jack Skellington histrionics, don't they?...Oh wait, what, wasn't that?

Don't worry, you'll be getting the Mulan episode of Sofia the First soon enough.
(I hate to admit, it's not really that bad, as Disney Jr. shows go. )

This clip isn't from the Mulan episode.

Odd that they block it. I guess it's because Disney Junior UK has its own seperate YouTube channel?

Yeah, with a different schedule. It's infuriating how Disney blocks non-UK content here online. I can't even access some of the regular US Disney sites as they redirected to the pansy UK one that's so light and late on content. Thankfully that's just the main Disney.com links, so I can still visit other sites.

Kung Fu Panda 3:
Wow. I liked the previous two movies, I practically grew up with them, but from the trailers I really thought Kung fu panda 3 would be kiddie/real for kids movie.

It's often hard to feel sorry for multi-million dollar conglomerates, but what a headache for DWA. I'm glad the guy is being punished.
