Spirit - a little boring. Worst film? not really.

That would be Filmation's Oliver Twist. I hated that movie, but I was more or less forced to watch it.

You know, this is one of the very few Disney films I have never watched. It was never widely circulated when I was growing up and I didn't find out about it until 10 years after it came out (really because of the Internet). I've had chances, but there have been so many mixed reviews on it that I hav...

Hmm...weird decision for them. I'm sure there's plenty of people at their company that think this is a wise decision. Disney and Nickelodeon both do it. I think they want a piece of the pie. They'll probably later launch a CN-Toon Network (redundant isn't it?).

Kung Fu Panda was a great movie. I'm in no way doubting the legitimacy of the awards they received. I was shocked to hear Wall-E was shut-out, but to me both were excellent movies. I think it might have had something to do with camaraderie. Dreamworks is in LA and Pixar is far from Hollywood. My gue...

My main problem with the movie was during the chase scene through the Amazon jungle (where apparently there was a neat road for them to use) they find themselves driving next to a giant waterfall gorge (looked like Iguazu Falls which is way down on the southern end of Brazil). That was just too jarr...

Here's the trailer spot that will debut during the Super Bowl. Pretty cool. It looks good. They're definitely going for a more humorous take on the story by casting Dwayne Johnson. Still, he's been good in the comedies he's been in. Hopefully they will focus more on the adventure aspects though and...

It could be the angle of her face, but her eyes look like they're too far apart.

They book look pretty cool to me. There's a lot in there I don't think we'll ever see in a proper multi-disc release.

I'm glad they have reached an agreement, only because I think Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a much better story than Prince Caspian (which basically turned out to be one drawn-out fight sequence). I don't understand why Disney couldn't cut back on the budget for Prince Caspian in the first place. It...

Well, the old version might not matter to me either if they do a good job at restoring this into High Def.

That's sad to hear, but I have never been a purist. I agree with Ben though about the difference between preserving the film and making it look like it was just photographed today. That's a hard balancing act for these studios.

I think they very much held it back in the US because they wanted to build on the hype of the new movie that comes out in May. At least that's what I think. You're right about Wolverine's personality, but one could also argue that Wolverine does get responsible when it is up to him to do something. ...
