Re: Disney Pixar's Elio
No, no. Elio has two fully credited directors at the start of the credits. It's not a Wonder Park thing. It's only the original director who's not given top billing (unlike Brenda Chapman on Brave).

Re: Disney Pixar's Elio
Interesting things about Elio's end credits... Despite initial reports indicating "three credited directors," that is only technically true. Poor Adrian Molina doesn't get top billing, and has his name hidden in the main crawl (even when not credited as a "co-director," he is credited as "director,"...

Re: Incredibles 2 (and 3!)
Okay. That's very weird, because I could swear they did change it. I'm (almost) certain the paragraph originally read "Bird’s schedule seems to be the reason as to why he is not directing the third film in the franchise, given he’s in pre-production on Skydance’s Ray Gunn, as well as 1906 for Disney...

Brad Bird is handing the reins to Elemental director Peter Sohn:

However the big news here seems to be that THR may have accidentally revealed that Disney is letting Bird finally make 1906.

Since Butch Hartman has his own animation studio (again?), reminder that this is one of roughly 10,000 failed pilots he produced, and they’re all of this “quality”…

Re: YouTube Goodness
Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue! aired on this day 35 years ago (one day after 420 day, ironically). For those who don't know, George C. Scott voiced the embodiment of "drugs," while the song was written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. We will never get something this bonkers ever again. https://w...

Re: YouTube Goodness
I preferred the second movie over the first growing up because the evil book absolutely terrified me and I would usually stop watching the film once she showed up.

Interesting video on the history of Disney's infamous scary Snow White ride: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSabLIdd93I Obviously, I've only ever ridden the "revamped" Magic Kingdom version, so I was confused by what all the fuss was about at the time. Only years later did I learn I hadn't been rid...

Re: Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Live-Action)
She’s called “Snow White” because she was born in the winter snow. Not really that big of a deal?
And I really thought the “echo” song (where I didn’t even notice her singing that word so much) was alright?

Re: Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Live-Action)
I feel there are too many scenes where the dwarfs (or whatever they are) interact with them for that to have been the case? The dwarfs are in almost every scene the thieves are in. And the thieves aren't in it much. It's weird to say, but the CGI dwarfs (who are mythical creatures who are centuries ...

Re: Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Live-Action)
Okay, so as I figured from a few years ago, that Daily Mail article with the “leaks” was false. Or at least misinformed. Those people pictured weren’t playing the dwarfs. Or dwarf characters. They are a band of thieves because this movie is also a Robin Hood remake for some reason. So the dwarfs (CG...

Okay, so maybe the CGI dwarfs in the new live-action Snow White don't look so bad after all...
