The article was certainly upbeat.

There's no script yet, so let's all hope it's great.

hate to get off topic. briefly--enchanted sequel IS in development, but not near production at the moment. So really, not much to say on the topic. I would love to share the original animation storyboards with the original menken song. Fun stuff. I don't even know if Kevin has seen any of it. BUT do...

I think the grosses are going to be a problem for future 2-D. It's at 63 now and may get to 80 after the New Year's weekend after which it might make it to the mid-90's. (Since it has been out so long and has a very low per screen average, it will lose a huge chunk of screens, Friday the 8th and by ...

If you've been following along these past few years, you'd know the answer.

I'm tired of talking about it.

Don't tell me how The Wild was made.

I produced it and was the executive on it at Disney.

I bought the pitch.
I developed the screenplay.
I hired the director.
I hired The Core.

So no, you don't know what you're talking about.

EV--all the content you mention was made by Eisner. Before you shoot your mouth off please understand this basic fact: It takes YEARS to make content. SO while these projects may have been released after Eisner left, they are all still his work. And The WILD IS Disney. It is DISNEY. IT IS A WALT DIS...

The spring release date is all about spring break folks. Spring break=kids are available to go to the movies. These days it is a little more complicated--some schools have two weeks, some start earlier, but in general, it begins one or two weeks before easter sunday. Do a little research on boxoffic...

Has there ever been a hit sci-fi action movie in animation? Maybe Incredibles, but that still seems like more comedy than adventure. Tongue is always firmly in cheek. In my opinion, live-action action movies ARE practically animated. Transformers, Spiderman, Iron Man. These all feature hundreds of c...

It bugs me too. I know that rats don't cook. Fish don't talk. Etc. But adding Dinosaurs to ice age seems not right. It's not even like dinosaurs existed any time NEAR mammoths not to mention humans. Small thing, maybe. But it bugs me like it bugged me when the insects in Bug's life only had two arms.

I thought it was fun.

I DID see it on imax in 3-D tho, so that probably made the experience a bit more exciting.

The pleasure was somewhat dimmed by the realization that I had spent nearly $75 bucks to take two kids to see it! (Tickets $50, snacks 24!) No wonder the grosses were so high.

How many animated films have there been in the past 20 years that have NOT been comedies? Just because it is a comedy doesn't mean it won't have heart and a real romance.

Are people noticing that this is turning into a sleeper hit? It made 11.4 this past weekend. Not so much you say. But look closely. Only down 22.7%. This despite LOSING 165 theaters. That's very rare these days. The screen average remains incredibly healthy at 5305K per screen. Cume is now 53.7 mill...

The problem with the AA show is that it is just too long. All those montages? What's the point? Think how interesting the show would be if it ran 90 minutes. BUT the show is STILL second only to the Superbowl in terms of ratings. Which means big ad sales. SO if you ran a studio, wouldn't you want to...

Partly Cloudy

is this really the name of the short to be attached to this movie?

isn't that a little odd since sony has cloudy with a chance of meatballs?

Maybe it's nothing.
