Re: Disney's Raya And The Last Dragon

Gee even The Black Cauldron never got the R rating talk.

Re: Disney's Frozen

I understand why F2 was made I really do, cause it was quick money. I was hoping what Disney would have taken away from the success was that the public would like more fairy tale musicals. I firmly believe that Tangled (and a lesser extent Princess and the Frog) helped show the public that they enjo...

Re: Disney's Frozen

I'm with Daniel, the return of Hans and redeem him. If they do go ahead with F3, I hope they come up with a plot that involves everyone being together most of the time and not have individual plots occurring on their own. And better songs. And by better songs, I mean ones that actually serve to prog...

Re: Gkids Gets American Rights to Studio Ghibili's First CG Animated Film!

You know what I've just realised from watching that trailer, is that hand drawn hair should not just be replicated in CGI form. A lot of the hairstyle on display look like hard plastic wigs. If it was hand drawn it would look natural, but run it through the computer and it looks like a lot of hair g...

Re: Disney's Hercules (Live-Action)

Even if Hercules and other don'ts sing, I hope they keep The Muses as The Greek Chorus. It would at least make the movie stand out from all the other live action Hercules that are out there. As someone who was made to study Ancient Greek theatre for his high school drama course, I really appreciated...

Re: Mulan (Live-action remake)

Well I finally got around to watching this last night, via old school DVD. And wow, the only way to explain my opinion of the movie is to describe it as a boring hot mess. It was like Disney wanted their cake and to eat it too. They wanted a new version of the story, but also wanted the nostalgia of...

Re: Soul

I'm still disappointed that Disney didn't choose to at least put Soul into Australian cinemas (like WB have with Wonder Woman 1984 and Dreamsworks with Croods 2) over the Christmas/New Year break before dumping onto +. Guess this will have to wait until the DVD or whenever Hulu gets attached to + in...

Rumors disney plus may merge with hulu. (just a rumor)
That would help me see all those Hulu exclusive stuff that I want to check out but I can't access here in Australia.

To my colourblind eyes he looks red. So I will take Ben's word that it isn't a real red.

I lasted about 15 seconds before pressing stop. It just felt so pretentious, and can we please retire Hallelujah?

Re: Avengers and the MCU

For the record, I'm interested in WandaVision because the trailers make the show look interesting, slightly amusing and it intrigues me. I have no plans to place it on a pedestal. If it sucks it sucks, if it's good it's good. I'm not hoping for it to launch Phase IV, I'm not hoping for it to be anyt...

Re: The Disney Family Singalong

Happy they squeezed in a Nightmare song, and if it wasn't for that song and Snowman and Whistle I would have had no idea this was a Disney related special based on all those songs. And performers.

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES

I think I may laugh hysterically out loud if the additional footage turns out to just be a glorified dream sequence of some potential future kinda like what the Arrowverse shows did with Crisis on Infinite Earths. So many cameos of characters in so little time and in the end utterly pointless.
