Re: A new 2D Pooh is being made!

So I suppose I'm in the minority when it comes to saying the Keane track meshed with the trailer's presentation pitch perfect? I've listened to the group for years and I grew up on all manner of Pooh, but never did I ever put the two together till now and I'm struck by how warm and comforted I am wi...

Whatever the form, they need to change the title. Something closer to "Gordon: Is Awesome"

<r>Just got back from seeing a 2D showing and really enjoyed it! Almost brought a tear to me eye in parts. <E>:)</E> Great opening sequence, too. If anything, Hiccup's voice and demeanor was a bit grating for a while, but hey... that's the character, and it provides the needed contrast which so much...

Re: Re:

The only thing I agree with is the part in bold, everything else is the same old rambling which can be seen on the Brew and other places. Who said anything about this being a masterpiece? All I'm expecting is to have a little fun and to be entertained for one to two hours and that is all. If you go...

Re: Re:

Why do you suppose that is? Perhaps that feeling originates from the contingent who *know* animation peaked around 1940. :P I can't comment on Dragon; however, Dreamworks' output overall has been hit-and-miss enough for me to not hold out any hope for an animation masterpiece in future titles. At b...

So, no bites for the kitchen scene in Jurassic Park? Or the power compound after Sattler makes her run? I swear those raptors have it in for me. And in E.T., how about the scenes where you aren't sure at first who's hunting the little guy, keys dangling, vans eavesdropping, and those cords snaking t...

Aw. It's a delightful little yarn and a playful extension to Whisper of the Heart -- I think as a film it doesn't really set out to attempt much more than just that. Nicely polished, good humor, lighthearted adventure, I'd pick Cat Returns over many other animated films any day of the week.
