Re: The John Lasseter saga
Lasseter isn't "in charge" of these films in the way that he was "in charge" of A Bug's Life and Cars. His role will be more like it was in Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Wall-e, Up, Tangled, Frozen, etc....

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES
How many chances has this guy had to make a good DC movie? Been burned too many times to care about this one!

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+
I think a Black History Month release is much more likely than a Whitney Houston death anniversary release! Not something many would even know the date of and not something they would probably even want to commemorate!

Re: YouTube Goodness
Speaking of Belle, I just watched the Rifftrax version of the 1990 live action Disney Channel Aladdin. Was surprised to see Susan Egan in it. Here’s a taste if you’ve never heard of it: https://www.rifftrax.com/aladdin

Re: YouTube Goodness
Ok, everyone got a dig in. Yay! We’re all so clever with our devilishly witty ripostes!
Now let’s drop this and get back to the topic at hand, which is *checks thread title* “YouTube Goodness”. Seriously, move on.

...and then at the same time put out a Movie Club Exclusive "Best Of Mickey" set featuring...Fantasia (!) along with F2K (arguably more of a Donald film, if anything) and a reprise of the Celebrating Mickey disc. Yeah...weird release, almost as weird as the Princess Collection they did last month w...

Re: Avengers and the MCU
It’s not that I can’t wait to watch the shows. It’s that I know as soon as I get on the web after just watching one or two, I risk the possibility of getting spoiled by those who did binge. I also like everyone being on the same page so we can actually discuss. What’s the chances you’ll find someone...

Re: Avengers and the MCU
As much as people complain about not being able to binge an entire series -- If Mandalorian didn't prove it, Wandavision shows how much better the week-by-week approach is, allowing the fans to interact with one another over the latest episode rather than being afraid of going anywhere near someone ...

Re: Bad movies with great soundtracks?
One of my favorite bad movies is Hudson Hawk. The plot is absolutely ridiculous, but fun! The main characters are two burglars played by Bruce Willis and Danny Aiello. When they separate during a heist they pick a song that's the approximate length of time they expect to be in order to stay in sync,...

Here's the SNL skit they hint at for those who don't remember Sally O'Malley!BTW, during both arrests Bedard informed cops she's 53 ... and not in the fun 'SNL' skit way.

Re: Metv Showing bugs bunny, popeye & tom & jerry!
Rand’s option of “to the left of Blinky” I think addresses Ben’s point about making the placement from viewer’s perspective, since my original wording did change the POV. Just to be safe, I went a bit further with the edit! And I also think being pedantic is probably in the job description for a pro...

Re: Metv Showing bugs bunny, popeye & tom & jerry!
Is Li'l James really "to Blinky's left," as described in the article, or "to the left of Blinky?" I'd swear it's the latter... I guess it depends on which kid I am in the picture. But in this case, I am on the left side of the photo, but since we're facing the camera that put's me on Blinky's right...
