Have not seen Quest For Camelot, and probably never will, but I did catch Spirit a few years ago and agree with Bill in that the film is too pretentious for it's own good. I was actually surprised by how much I disliked it, since I was a youngish girl at the time and pretty much loved anything invol...

I definitely agree with Rodney in that Voyage of the Dawn Treader was a much stronger book than Caspian. Glad to hear I still get to see it on the big screen! :)

I actually didn't like the Speed Racer film, despite enjoying the original series quite a bit (for less than serious reason, but still). Thought it was an absolute visual mess. It is a shame, though, that TDK and Wall-E were snubbed in the Best Picture category. It would be nice to see the Academy n...

On the subject of the recently released still from The Princess And The Frog, I really like the frog and the color scheme (the use of purple is impressive, as that color can be very obnoxious), although Tiana looks very awkward. Stiff pose and a bit of a strange expression on her, I think. Everythin...

Personally I've never held much of a liking for Family Guy - to me, the style of humor and delivery of the jokes always fall flat or feel awkward, the visuals are uninspired and boring, and the characters have never done anything for me except cause some mild aggravation. The fact that Seth Rogen ha...

Thought I'd pop in and say that I also really enjoyed it, which is something that suprised me as I was expecting not to like it. I recommend it, for those who enjoy good bad movies. (:

This actually looks...Not very good, to me. At all. But I did enjoy the first one so I'll give this a chance as well.

Also, why does Amelia Earhart have eyebrows?!

Powell has been one of my favorite animation composers, ever since I'd first heard his quirky score for Blue Sky's Robots . This year's 'trifecta' might make one fear Powell were being 'over-used' .. but a listen to these scores reveals a very different -- yet, in each case, appropriate -- approach...
