That's the beauty of a disc collection. :) Always on-demand in my home.

Nice to finally get a look at these shows, though I may not make it through a full episode.

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

Best of all, to me, is news from Jerry that Warner is going through the MGM cartoon library, not necessarily just the Avery shorts. I'd love to see the Happy Harmonies on Blu-ray, for example, though we'll have to see how they do with the Tex discs first...

Re: The Simpsons

Your opinions are good and valid, Vi.

Apu may still show up, though voiced by someone of true Indian heritage. I'd be fine with that. In cases where someone's ethnicity is so much a part of the character, that might be the best way to go.

Re: The Simpsons

I don't think this was necessarily Disney. This has been brewing for a while, with Azaria and Groening and the rest reportedly in agreement. Totally agree with Bill. I'm looking forward to a somewhat new take on the story.

Sounds good to me. I hope the kid knocks it out of the park. And that the new Menken songs fit in well.

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

Looks like it's a first volume, in likely a.... three volume set, perhaps?

Should be up for order within 1-3 weeks, I'd guess.

I'm guessing that was by his request? Maybe even in his contract. He had his named dropped from Kick-Ass 2 promotion, too.

Wow. Rod died in 1975. That's a long time to be a widow.

Re: Oscar Nods for Anmated Films 2020!

Toy Story 4? HTTYD3? Blech. What a weak year, when films like that are getting noms. And I would have gone for Frozen II over either of those barely-warmed-over retreads. Overall, I'd vote for Missing Link, though Klaus was also very good. And add my vote for Williams, not only as a career-topper, b...

Re: Avengers, Justice League and more in READY PLAYER ONE!

I thought I saw Spielberg in a Disney World restaurant (Chef Mickey's) over 20 years ago, but my wife thought I was crazy. I still regret not approaching that bearded man in the ball cap and sunglasses!
