Re: Banana Splits five nights Movie Trailer!

Funny, Daniel. :) I can't believe this thing is real, but a Web check shows it is indeed. Wow. I have no sentimentality towards this show, but I hope they leave some of my H-B favourites alone. And to think that H-B allegedly ended DC Comics' use of their characters for not using them in the classic...

Re: Mighty mouse live action film & Spice girls animated film in the works!

I have a feeling that they should just leave Mighty Mouse alone, though the comic from a year or so ago was pretty decent. It told the tale of MM entering our world and befriending a young boy, and then protecting Earth from a cat alien attack. I could see an adaptation of that working. Even as a ki...

Re: The DOCTOR WHO Thread

I have been enjoying the recovered and newly animated episodes. Nice to see more coming out soon, too.

Re: DreamWorks Discussion

I love the new releases, mostly. They do include all the important bonus material from the DVDs, according to the packaging. And the white spines all line up very nicely on a shelf. (I re-purchased Spirit for $10 when I saw it, just for the cover slip!) The covers themselves, however, are UGLY--- mo...

Re: YouTube Goodness

Crayer and crayer! The coincidences for the three of us keep piling up! :) As I recall, it was Tommy, my character, that led the parade in our production! I lamented the fact that we did The Music Man in high school, since it was the only one I did and there are lots of musicals that I prefer, but i...

Re: YouTube Goodness

You're kidding me. I was in a production of The Music Man, too! Back in high school, I played Tommy Djilas. :) I ended up dating the girl who played my girlfriend. The guy who played her dad, The Mayor, was a fella I've known since we were babies.

But, I must say, I CANNOT dance.

Re: Cinderella: Platinum Edition Discussion

Yeah, Dusterian, it's nice to hear from you again. Hopefully you'll stick around a while. :)

It's nice to still have all those LaserDiscs for alternatives to the oh-so-clean/recoloured HD images. And I still enjoy the side changes, in a way.

Ho ho!

I do a actually like the sound of this one. Disposable entertainment for sure, but I like these films alright for what they are.

Re: Movie collection cataloging

I don't keep a database, only a text listing using Word. I once tried to start a software-based disc database, but it would take ages now to select my over 3000 titles. (Though the extra database features would be convenient and fun.) I'm blessed with a good memory, so I have a good idea of what I a...

Re: Disney's Aladdin (Live-Action)

I preordered the 3D Steelbook from Zavvi, but probably won't get out to the theatre for it. Not with so many other films coming out over the next few weeks.

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

Wally Gator is coming in June! One more classic show down! No details yet on what exactly is included, I expect it would include the Lippy the Lion & Hardy Har Har and Touche Turtle & Dum Dum shorts as well, but we'll see. Originally called The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series, it ran for 52 episode...

Re: The NEW Muppet Movie

Yeah, they were real puppets in the first place. But I guess these are the "new" versions. Not being an expert, they look much as they did before, with a new character?
